Marian Bohman passed on Christmas night at age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband Curt Bohman. She is survived by her son, Gary Bohman and Peggy Trantum of Mira Loma, her daughter, Tina and son-in-law Paul Paoletti, grandsons, Ty Rose and Toby Rose and her great-granddaughter, Riley Rose all residing in Lodi.
Marian was a Los Angeles native, growing up in what was once a beautiful area that sadly was demolished to make way for what is today part of the southern California freeway system. She and her husband, of nearly 50 years, moved to Newport Beach where they enjoyed boating in the harbor and taking trips to Catalina on their boat Skoal, for 45 yrs. Later, they started their family and provided a home filled with wisdom, encouragement and love.
Marian had a real talent for decorating. She made her homes beautiful, warm and welcoming. One home on Balboa Island was featured in the Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
After her husband's heart attack, she gave up being a homemaker and went to work as a lab technician at North American Rockwell and later, Memorex to help provide for her family's needs. She was a selfless, supportive and loving mother who will be greatly missed.
