Michael Lee Weigum, 58, of Twain Harte, passed away on December 5, 2012, due to a sudden illness.
Mike was born in Orange County, California on August 17, 1954. He grew up in Victor, California where he attended Alpine-Victor School from Kindergarten through eighth grade. He graduated from Lodi Union High School and continued with his education to receive a degree from the University of California at Sacramento.
Mike was employed by Gallo Winery in Modesto for 33 years; he retired last year. Mike enjoyed camping and fishing and would spend any free time he had in his boat fishing in the Delta or New Melones Dam. He also enjoyed many camping trips at Lake Alpine. He was an avid Dodger and A's fan. The most important thing to him was spending time with his family who meant the world to him.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Michelle, David, Dustin, and Marcus; four grandchildren; his sister, Kathy Weigum-Bender; his brother-in-law Jim Bender; his aunt Patricia (Weigum) Rosenaur, his nephew, Shawn Bender; his niece, Katie Bender; one great-niece and two-great nephews, and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Wally Weigum and his mother, Jacqueline Weigum.
The funeral service will be held at Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Lodi Memorial Park.
