Viola Virginia Bright(1921-2014)

Viola Virginia Bright passed away June 7, 2014 in Stockton, CA. Viola was born in Ashley, ND March 1, 1921 to Christian and Magdalena Bertsch. Viola moved to Lodi in 1937 with her family and graduated from Lodi High School in 1939. She had many hobbies including; sewing, gardening, ceramics, oil painting and various other crafts.
Viola was preceded in death by her son, James Bright in 1976. She then started a support group for parents who have lost children called P.A.L. (Parents Accepting Loss). Her church was Vinewood of which she was a member.
She is survived by her 2 sons; David and Chris Bright of Pleasanton and Paul and Louise Bright of Fair Oaks, grandchildren; Deanna and Sarah of Denver, CO, Wendy (Eric) Corriea of San Diego, Alexandra, Jimmy and Andrea of Pleasanton, and 2 great grand children; Avery and Elliott.
At the request of the Bright Family Funeral Services will be held privately at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi. Memorial Contributions may be made in Viola's name to her favorite charity, Animal Friends Connection, 933 Cherokee Ln, Lodi, CA 95240.
