A resident of Lodi, California, William M. Hansen passed away on Sunday December 29, 2013 at the age of 90 in Stockton CA. He touched many lives with his sense of humor and positive outlook on life. William was born and raised in Sebastopol CA. He served six years in the United States Navy
as a Torpedoman Second Class. He retired after 25 years working for the University of California, Berkeley in the Printing Department. Prior to living in Lodi, for 16 years he was a resident of Benicia CA and prior to that Concord CA.
William enjoyed movies, traveling, gardening and fishing. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family and will be missed.
William is survived by his devoted children Susan McVicker (Randy) of Benicia, Debra Slater (Mitch) of Lodi and Pam Math (Robert) of Fremont, daughter in law Kathy and grandchildren Bryan and Chong suk McVicker of Texas, Christopher McVicker of San Francisco, Carla McVicker of Benicia, Ryan Slater of Napa, Kyle and Sabrina Slater of Lodi, Andrew and Cara Slater of Lodi, Megan Slater of Lodi, Robert Marth of Fremont, Christine Marth of Fremont, Scott Marth of Fremont and Jarrett Marth of Fremont, Adam Hansen of WA, Kelly Hansen of WA and David Wilder of WA and numerous great Grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his wife Isabel and son Randal. His generous loving sprit will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday January 13, 2014 from 10:00 to 12:00 and a Veteran's funeral to follow at noon at Oakmont Memorial Park and Mortuary Park in Lafayette, CA
