Arthur "Lee" Bais passed away on August 19, 2013 at the age of 68 after a short battle with cancer. He was the 5th of 7 children born and raised in Hayward, CA, attended Sunset High School, served in the US Marine Corp, and was a veteran of the Viet Nam war. He lived in Fremont, CA for 34 years before moving to Lodi in 2000. He retired from EMJ in 2001, was active in the Lodi Moose Lodge and Seniors In Retirement (SIRS), worked as a part time greeter at Woodbridge Country Club and volunteered at Jessie's Grove Winery and other Lodi venues.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Carmen, his son Robert of Stockton, daughter Charlene, grandchildren Courtney and Cameron Wisely of Lodi. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling, cooking but most of all his passion was spending time with family and friends. Lee will be always remembered for being a great humanitarian.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
