He was always ready for a jam session, and knew how to play the violin, guitar, and mandolin, and he loved to sing. He enjoyed helping others, and especially loved spending time with his family. He found delight in reading World War II books. Charlie was well known for his sharp memory, sense of humor and he had an infectious laugh.
