May M. DeJong, a forty year resident of Lodi, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on December 10, 2013. She was once a member of the Women of the Moose, the Lodi Garden Club, and worked as a volunteer pink lady at Lodi Memorial Hospital. She also worked as a secretary at Oxy Chemical in Stockton. May was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her music, gardening and taking long, leisurely rides on the Delta, but nothing was more important to her than her family. She was loved and adored by everyone who knew her. May was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, her first husband, Raymond B. Davis and her husband, Edward J. DeJong. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Kenneth) Rohrbach, daughter, Diana (Maurice) Cavallaro of Grass Valley, son, Raymond (Lynn) Davis of Ryer Island, daughter, Terry (Kenneth) Domingo, son, Thomas (Jacqueline) Davis of Lodi, and son, Richard (Jeanette) Davis of Walnut Grove, and daughter, Cindy (Richard) Espinoza of Mesa AZ; 23 grandchildren ; and 37 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to visit Monday, December 16, from 8:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Lodi Funeral Home.
