Patricia loved horses, playing pinochle, and knitting hats/scarves. But her real love was music. She was a gifted performer and enjoyed entertaining by singing, playing piano and composing music. She organized and performed in numerous senior musical events in Arizona, played piano and sang for local church functions, and entertained at the Arbor Senior Apartment facility in Lodi. She was also a notable performer at Lodi's annual Hutchins Street Square Senior Follies.
A former program director at Pixie Woods, she graduated from College of the Pacific in 1961 and went on to get a teaching credential and a master's degree. Patricia retired after 20 years as an elementary school teacher and with her second husband, George founded "Come With Me Science", a children's science oriented publishing company producing books and music learning kits. Patricia moved to California in 1953, and with the exception of a 15 year relocation to Arizona, has been a resident of California ever since.
