Phillip M. Brome Sr. died suddenly and went home to his Lord and Savior on July 5th at the age of 77.

Phillip was born on Feb. 1, 1937 in Glendive, MT. At the age of 4, he moved to Stockton, CA. He graduated high school from Stockton College in 1955 and joined the Air Force. He was an M.P. and served most of his 4 years in Alaska.
Phillip was a journeyman printer and worked in various printing shops, eventually owning his own printing business. He retired from the City of Stockton Duplicating Department.
Phillip was loyal, loving, committed, and hard working. He loved music and enjoyed singing in the church choir. In high school, he sang in the a cappella choir and played football. He loved working in his garden and loved all animals, especially his dog, Gidget. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his grandson Tyler Porterfield.
He was preceeded in death by his father Corrill Brome, his mother Elsie Gensler and his step father Myer L. Gensler. He is survived by his wife Donna Brome, his twin sister Phyllis Derksen, and his brother William Michael (Debbie) Brome, and his children Debra (Rick) Brome-Hartley, Jeanette (Rick) Lincoln, Phillip (June) Brome Jr, Lorianne (Steve) Porterfield, Greg (Sunny) Williams, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th at 2 PM at Quail Lake Baptist Church Chapel, 1904 Quail Lake Drive, Stockton.
