Alan Ray Robbins, 67, of Galt went to meet the Lord March 26, 2014. He was born March 9, 1947 in Lodi to Ray and Ellen Robbins. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Alan attended Galt Elementary School and graduated from Galt High School in 1965. He married Gayle Caldwell in 1967 and had two daughters Traci and Laurie. Alan began his career at Diamond National Lumber Company where he worked 24 years. He then worked as a custodian for the Galt School District for 17 years and retired in 2009.
Alan is the oldest of seven brothers and two sisters; Steve (Diane), Larry (Deann), Gary (Bobby), Lloyd (Valerie), Dani, Tony, Kenny (Maureen), and Kim Robbins. He leaves behind daughter Traci (Mike) Stiehr; and daughter Laurie (Ted) Jackson. He was a devoted grandfather to Alexis Cuevas (Cody); Kaitlyn and Josh Stiehr; Joslyn, Jaclyn and Kristyn Jackson.
Alan attended Calvary Life Tabernacle. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with his family. Preceded him in death were his mother and father.
Friends and family are invited to attend services at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 3 at Horizon Community Church, 446 Fairway Drive in Galt. Private Interment at the Galt Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Moose Lodge, 3824 E. Woodbridge Rd. in Acampo.
