Anita Kay Snider, 56, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2014, following a short illness. She was born on May 22, 1957, in Lodi, Ca. to Edward and Betty Menzer.
The Guest Book is expired.
Anita was a very kind and loving person to everyone she met. Her husband, children and grandchildren meant the world to her, always putting their needs before her own. She lived life to the fullest and had the greatest sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Anita enjoyed so many things in life and had a ton of hobbies. She cherished spending time with her grandsons and spoiling them every chance she had. Seeing them smile melted her heart. She loved watching UFC fights, especially when Nick and Nate Diaz fought. She was so excited she always yelled "209" while she watched them. She also enjoyed going to Stockton Thunder games with her family, and was a fan of the San Jose Sharks. She was a die hard New York Yankee fan and bled blue. She loved going to different parts of the states to watch Formula One racing with her husband Kirk. She finally was able to go to Vancouver, Canada for one of them, the race and vacation of her dreams.
Surviving her is her loving husband Kirk Snider of Stockton, mother Betty Menzer of Lodi, brother Michael Menzer of Galt, brother and sister Larry Gardner and Cathy Gardner of Oregon, daughter Jennifer Gomes of Stockton, son Jonathan Gomes of Stockton, daughter-in-law Veasna Keo of Stockton, and grandchildren Giovanni and Luciano Astone of Stockton.
A celebration of Anita's life will be on April 12, 2014. Donations can be made to The Hospice of San Joaquin in memory of Anita.
