Anita Louise Gunnerson, age 76 of Lodi, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Stockton, California on January 21, 1936, to Lloyd Vincent and Margaret Viola (Arlin) Williams. Anita worked in the banking industry for over 50 years, most recently for Bank of Lodi on Ham Lane. She enjoyed reading, watching old movies, and camping. Anita was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and her dogs. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and she will be dearly missed.
Anita is survived by her son: Gregory (Annette) Williams; grandchildren: Jennifer and Vincent Williams; brothers: Lloyd and Larry Williams; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Deane Gunnerson, brother, Dennis Williams, and sister, Darlene Baker.
As per Anita's wishes, there is no visitation and committal will be private. A virtual register may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com where memories can be shared. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
