Ann H Anderson passed away peacefully at her home on February 7, 2013 at the age of 86 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born to Russian and Polish immigrants on April 30, 1926 in Pennsylvania, she moved west to Salt Lake City with her first husband Jack Bushar, who died in 1969. In 1974 she married Bob Anderson and they soon moved to Stockton. Ann returned to college and received her Masters degree in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento. She worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker in the Stockton area for a variety of public agencies and as a private consultant. In Stockton, she discovered her passion and talent for artistic painting. As a watercolor artist, she not only enjoyed the self-fulfillment of her art, but also taught watercolor classes and became involved in the local art scene where she won numerous awards at juried art shows. Bob preceded Ann in death in 2006.
