Annie Floyd Gillespie, 95, passed peacefully from this world September 14, 2012, to the beautiful place called Heaven. She was born and raised in Columbia, Mississippi, lived in Lodi for many years, and considered Northern California 'home' since 1956.

Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, John Folk Gillespie; her father, Albert Sidney Barnes; her mother, Nellie Roberta Barnes; and her brother, Howard Thomas Barnes.
A loving mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, Annie is survived by her two sons David Allan Gillespie and wife Nancy, and Dale Gillespie and wife Debbie; her five grandchildren Liz Souza and husband Jeremy, Rebecca Ann Lanier and husband Jess, Nate Gillespie and wife Jill, Michael John Gillespie, and Katie Gillespie-McMillen and husband Brian; her six great-grandchildren Julia, Logan, Jaxon, Jaycie, Nora, and Jacob; and her brother-in-law Robert Paul Gillespie and wife Marguerite.
A special thanks is extended to Annie's son Dale, his wife Debbie, granddaughter Katie, and their remaining family for their attention and care for Annie over the last several years.
