Casandra Alfreda (Simonson) Williamson Obituary
Casandra Alfreda Williamson of Collinwood, TN and formerly of Lodi, CA, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at her home at the age of 39 following a valiant fight against cancer. She was born on August 22, 1974 in Arkansas and attended various schools in Lodi, CA after moving there in the early 80's.
Previously, she had attended Westside Assembly of God in Lodi, CA, where she married Shawn Williamson on July 27, 1993. She was employed at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, TN as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a job and calling suited to her sweet nature and a life devoted to service to others.
Survivors include her husband, Shawn Williamson and their children, Christell, Justine, Isaiah, and Madeline Williamson all of Collinwood, TN; her parents, MSgt (Ret.) William D. Simonson, Jr. of La Grange, TX and Janice Simonson of Lodi, CA, her birth mother, Snarm Dewakul-Burns of Milton, PA; four sisters, Carolyn Lea (Adam) of Caldwell, ID, Catherine Simonson (Grace) of Lodi, CA, Cynthia Gavin (Lee) of Olive Branch, MS, and Elizabeth Dentino (Jerry) of Lodi, CA, and two brothers, Daniel Simonson (Joann) of Lodi, CA and SMSgt William C. Simonson (Billie) of Prattville, AL; her grandmother, Ruth Helwig of Worth, IL, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, several foster siblings, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lloyd Helwig of Lodi, CA, and paternal grandparents, William D. Simonson, Sr. and Jeannette Simonson of North Easton, MA.

Services were held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Waynesboro, TN. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please feel free to donate to any animal shelter or cancer research center in her name, or donate blood to your local organization.
