Consuelo Castro passed away at the young age of 61 on September 13, 2012. She was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on July 5, 1951 to Alfred and Maria Castro. She had lived in the Lodi area for the past 55 years. Consuelo enjoyed taking care of her children and her home. Her father, Alfred Castro, preceded her in death. Consuelo is survived by her Mother, Maria Castro, two sons; Mark Castro and Larry Perez, Jr., grandchildren; Mayci Jewel Castro, Madilyn Jade Castro and Michael Adam Castro. She also leaves behind her two brothers; Antonio (Bertha) and John (Cathy) Castro and her sister Adela (Tom) Garcia.
Visitation will be held from 12-6 pm with a Rosary at 6 pm Monday, September 24, 2012 in the Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 E. Industrial Way, Lodi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 215 W. Walnut St., Lodi. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Ln., Lodi. Memorial Contributions may be made in Consuelo's name to The
