Corky was employed by the State of California as a Psychiatric Technician for over 20 years. Once retired, she volunteered for the community in various ways, including with the S.T.A.R.S (Sheriff's Team of Active Retired Seniors) organization and for 20 years as a tax preparer for seniors with the AARP. She received numerous commendations for her selfless work.
Corky lived independently at Arbor Senior Apartments where she was involved in many activities, such as Bridge & Bingo and especially enjoyed trips up to the Jackson Rancheria Casino. Corky loved animals and had many fond memories with her pets.
