On August 16, 2012, Corra Woodbury Mayo peacefully passed into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family.

Corra was born on December 5, 1931, to Winfield and Ruth (Mason) Woodbury and was a lifelong resident of Waterloo.
She graduated from Lodi High School and returned to school after her children were raised to become an LVN, and then worked at Dameron Hospital until her retirement.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Tommie Wade Mayo; children: Michael (Brenda) Mayo, Donna (Daniel) Whitlock, Steven (Janelle) Mayo, Karen (Eric) Sorensen, and Tom David (Lynette) Mayo; her 17 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and her sister, Winifred Ludwig. She was a blessing to all who knew her and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to attend a worship service at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Lodi on Friday, August 23, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.
