Dora Spilloway Obituary
Dora Spilloway passed away peacefully March 29, 2013 at the age of 102. She was born January 28, 1911 in Tashbunar Ismail Russia.
She immigrated, with her family, to the US in 1913 where her family started farming near Streeter, ND. One year later she and her husband moved to Chatshanie, OR. They moved into a houseboat on the banks of the Columbia River and worked for her oldest brother who had begun farming along the river. In 1934, Dora and her husband, moved to Lodi where she worked at various canneries and part-time at Guild Wine Bottling plant.
She loved to travel so she and her husband, sister and brother-in-law spent many summers traveling by car around the western part of the US. In her later years she liked tending to her yard and flowers.
She is preceded in death by her husband, six brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by a son: Gerald and his wife, Arlene and one grandson and many nephews and nieces.
