Douglas Howard Clark, age 61, of Lodi, passed away on September 8, 2012, at a hospital in Elk Grove after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 24, 1951, in San Francisco, CA to Howard and Marjorie Clark. He attended and graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1969. He worked in the wine industry for 38 years. Douglas married his wife, Audrey, in Carson City. He also overcame a battle with bone cancer in his knee in 1968. He loved fishing in Sitka, Alaska and any other fishing hole. Douglas also loved being outdoors, going camping in the mountains, and going for car rides just to get away. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, old spaghetti westerns, and football. He also liked to garden and cook and would try new recipes and share them with everyone. Douglas also enjoyed playing cards and taking trips to Las Vegas. Above all else, he loved his family, and they were his number one priority. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 36 years, Audrey Clark; children: Adam Clark and Jennifer Clark; son-in-law: Luciano Yanez; siblings: Jeanine (Jim) Hicks, Bradley Clark, and David Clark; granddaughters: Makayla and Abby Clark; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Friday, September 14, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with committal to follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
