Elsie M. Azevedo passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was 92. Elsie was born on March 5, 1920, to Alfred and Eva Martin. She has lived the past 50 years in Lodi, where she worked in health care for many years as a Nurse's Assistant.
She enjoyed painting, quilting, sports and vacations with the family.
Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Frank R. Azevedo who passed away in 1969, a grandson Michael Azevedo, 2 brothers and a sister.
She is survived by her children: Frank E. Azevedo, Barbara Ann Bossana, John A. Azevedo, Mary Harrison, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and bothers John Martin and Ernie Martin.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi. Visitation will take place from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi.
