Ethel Ann Favero, of Lodi, passed away on December 27, 2012, at the age of 90. She was born in Lodi, California to Mike and Celia (Barbero) Manaserro on September 9, 1922. She attended St. Mary's College of Nursing. She served in the U.S. Army as a Registered Nurse and then went on the work at Mason Hospital and Lodi Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and the Lodi Italian Club. Mrs. Favero enjoyed playing cards and other games as well as working in Outreach at St. Anne's Church. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Favero and Tom (Carol) Favero; grandsons, Kevin Favero and Michael Favero; granddaughter, Lisa Dawson; great-grandson, Nathan Favero; and great-granddaughters, Hayden Favero and Kaitlyn Favero. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Favero and, mother, Celia Manaserro. Friends are invited to visit Thursday, January 3, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be said Thursday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 4, at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church with committal to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.
