Glenn Reich Obituary
Glenn Reich, 87, of Lodi, passed away at home on May 29, 2018.
He was born on August 13, 1930 to August and Christine Reich in Elgin, North Dakota. Glenn came from a family of 13 children, 7 boys, and 6 girls. Glenn was the youngest sibling. Glenn moved with his family to Lodi when he was 16 years old. Glenn attended Lodi High School and graduated in 1949. He met Bette Aipperspach in Lodi and they were married in November 1955. Glenn and Bette were married 55 years until Bette's passing in 2010.

Glenn served as a Merchant Marine and worked as a Longshoreman. He started in the pest control industry in 1953. Glenn and Bette started A1 Exterminators in Stockton in 1969, where he could be seen stopping by the office until recently. If he was not at the office, he enjoyed driving his air conditioned tractor on the ranches. Glen was active in bowling and golfing. Family often had to plan events around his playing in golf tournaments with his good friends! Glenn was an active member of the Elks 1900 for 62 years. If you were an Elk, you knew Glenn and his legend of playing dice games.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Bette Reich and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son Glenn (Denise) Reich and Ryan Reich. Grandchildren Nicole (Donnie) Dyer, Stacey (Andy) Dukes, Jenae Reich, Stuart Reich, Rachelle (Greg) Babcock, Robert Reich, and Courtney Reich. Great-grandchildren Justin and Nicolas Dyer, Jaxton, Makenna and Declan Dukes, and Abigail, William and Harley Babcock.

Glenn's family wants to thank Dorothy Case and Julie Allan for their tender caregiving. Daily calls from Wendell Nemo and Larry Elliott brightened Glenn's days.

Per Glenn's request all family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life from 1:00 p.m., to 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Elks at 19071 N. Lower Sacramento Rd., Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Elks 1900 in Glenn's name or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to assist in finding a cure for his youngest great grandson Declan Dukes.
