Harold C. McKinsey, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, entered into new life Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the age of 79 at Dameron Hospital.
Harold served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and upon his return, married the love of his life, Inez. They would have been married 57 years July 21st.
Harold worked for the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department for 30 years. There, he was head of the indentification bureau, having been trained by the FBI, and was considered an expert in the field of fingerprint technique. Upon retiring, he then worked another twelve years for the DA's office. He excelled in his job and was well respected by everyone who worked with him.
He was a member of Faith Generations Foursquare Church in Lodi and enjoyed travel, fishing, golf and gardening. He was also a very talented photographer.
He is survived by his wife, Inez, three children, Vicky Williams (Larry), Michael McKinsey (Melissa), Kathy Andahl (Brandt), ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. He was dearly loved by his family and friends.
Funeral Services for Harold will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, at Faith Generations Foursquare Church at the corner of Hutchins and Park Streets in Lodi. Committal will be immediately after the service at Cherokee Memorial Park in Lodi. Pastor Larry Knapp officiating assisted by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
A gathering of family and friends will commence after the committal at Faith Generations Foursquare Church Fellowship Hall.
