Jackie Dale Patterson 77 of Lodi went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2012. He was born in Talala, Oklahoma on July 31, 1934 and moved to Acampo, California in 1937.|
He graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1952. He was married in 1954 to his high school sweetheart June J. Patterson (Quaschnick) for 50 wonderful years. He served in the Navy, worked at Hires Bottling Co, Super Mold, and Cozad Trailers until he retired in 1996 and then did some traveling with his longtime wonderful friends. His biggest joy in life was spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, family, and friends. He loved sports (Giants & 49ers), fishing, playing cards, and reading. He had a strong faith in God, a very caring and tender heart, was easygoing and loyal, always there when you needed him, and people enjoyed being around him. He was a long time member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and served the Lord in many ways throughout his life.
He was a loving Father, Grandfather (Pop) and Brother and is survived by his daughter Jane (Scott) King of Acampo, his son Scott Patterson, his grandchildren Zachary and Adison King of Acampo, and his sister and brother-in-law June and Bill Gaydon of Lodi, as well as many inlaws, neices, nephews, and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife June J. Patterson and parents Sterling and Ruth Patterson. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church on Lodi Ave. Committal will follow at Lodi Memorial Cemetery on Pine St.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Donahue Funeral Home on School St.
