James Miller, age 69, of Lodi, passed away on August 18, 2012. He was born in Shenandoah, Iowa on May 24, 1943, to Robert and Louise (Gibson) Miller. James was raised in Kansas and attended schools in the Mayetta area. He worked in construction for many years before starting his own farming business. James enjoyed fishing and raising and showing pigs. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Jocelyne Henne Robles Miller of Lodi; 7 children: Debbie (Chuck), Bob, James, Jay, Vern, Hank and Darlene; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters: Juanita (Donnie) Robinson and Jane (Dick) Ream; and brothers: Jack (Helen) and John Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Joe Miller, and nephew, C.J. Miller. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life open house at the home of James and Jocelyne, 2249 Corbin Lane, in Lodi, on Saturday, August 25, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Lodi All Faiths is assisting the family with arrangements.
