Emma Jean Wiessner, 88, of Lodi went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 28, 2013. She was born in the Bakersfield area called Wheeler Ridge, Ca. She was a homemaker and wonderful mother her whole life. She married Clifford Wiessner in 1944 and they had 54 wonderful years together. She spent 14 years in Palm Desert enjoying her retirement days of golfing and having fun. Jean and Clifford had two children Sharon (Chuck) Hasenfus and Greg (Cindy) Wiessner, 3 grandchildren; Kevin (Shayna), Julie and Jeff, and 2 great-grandchildren; Gunnar and Hunter. Her focus in her retirement was volunteering at Betty Ford Hospital Center in Rancho Mirage where she gave 5000 hours of volunteer time, she was very proud of that time.
