Jennifer Kathleen Attaway passed away October 14, 2013, in Buffalo, NY after a fearless battle with cancer. She was born December 7, 1973, in Stockton, CA. Jennifer spent her early years in Stockton until she graduated from University of the Pacific in 1998 with degrees in Sports Sciences and English and moved to Houston, TX. She later relocated to Buffalo, NY to pursue a Masters degree and become a college English professor.

Jennifer was very athletic and participated in many sports including basketball throughout high school and junior college and tennis as an adult. She was also a gifted writer and poet. She was fiercely competitive and always enjoyed a challenge. No matter what life threw at her, she gave it her all and excelled at it.
Jennifer was very adventurous. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking in her spare time. She would never turn down a trip to the ocean or Woods Lake - two of her favorite places.
Jennifer will be greatly missed by her husband Nir Ashram; parents Robert and Judy Attaway; brothers Matthew and Nathan Attaway; sister Megan (Tony) Huddleston; grandmother Dorthy Hobson; nephews Dylan Attaway and Oliver and Zachary Huddleston; aunt Kathleen Attaway; uncles Ray Hobson Jr, Steven Hobson, and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by grandparents William and Betty Attaway and Ray Hobson Sr.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 5 at 11 am at First United Methodist Church in Lodi.
