Josephine D. Combs-Scoggin, 82, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away October 25, 2012. Born July 12, 1930 in Friona, Texas, Josephine lived in Galt for many years. She loved cooking and working in her garden. Josephine is survived by her husband, Donald Scoggin, her children, Karen Stribling (Mike), Kenneth Combs, Diana Curtis (Brian), and Martha Freitas (Tony), and her siblings, Opal Weber (Bill), Diane Beebe (Dan), Juanita Tozier, and Ralph Standiford (Helen). She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Her previous husband of 54 years, Burl Franklin Combs, her son Gary Wesley Combs, and her granddaughter, Shanna Lafferry precede her in passing. Visitation will be held from 2-8pm, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi CA 95240. Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Friday, November 2, 2012 at Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi.
