Juneferd Janet Durnil went to be with the Lord peacefully on February 11, 2014 at home in Lodi, Ca, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 6, 1928 of Lester and Elsie Burdo in Plattsuburgh, New York and was one of 14 children. She married Frank De Sena in 1946 and they had 6 children: Frank De Sena, Carrie Kashner, Lynn Taylor, Thomas De Sena, Spencer De Sena, Cydelle May. She had nine grandchildren: Kristi Passey, James Kashner, Apryl Powell, Audrey Smith, Paul Quiring, Lanelle Vargas, Jenny Jackson, Steven De Sena, and Jimmy May. She had fourteen great grandchildren: Alex, Sydney & Spencer, Dylan & Ryan, Colten, Cierra & Cade; Kyle & Bryce, Rylea, Keagon, Jestyn and Cassie. All loved her very much.

June moved to Pomona, California and then later moved to Orange County with her six children when her husband, Frank passed away suddenly. She worked as a waitress at various restaurants including Vance's Restaurant in Garden Grove. There she met and married Vance Eugene Durnil. They enjoyed almost 50 years together. Vance and June moved to Oklahoma in 1991 where she worked at Walmart. In 2000, they moved to Lodi. She again worked at Walmart and became a valuable employee as one of their most well-liked greeters.
June is survived by her husband Vance, sons and daughters, grand and great grand children, two sisters: Ola Hawk and Carmelita Panton, and one brother Reginal Burdo.
Eaton Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A family reunion was held before her passing which brought her great happiness to see most of her family together.
