Elsie LaMar O'Reilly Redman, of Stockton, was called home to the Lord on December 18, 2012, at the age of 76. She was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on June 23, 1936, to Chester Gerhart and Elsie Marie (Dixon) Hovland. LaMar graduated from beauty school in 1955 and worked as a beautician for over 40 years. She was a member of Quail Lakes Baptist Church in Stockton.

LaMar is survived by her children: Tim (Elaine) O'Reilly and Kelly Henderson; step-son: Rodney Redman; grandchildren: Natalie O'Reilly, Nicole O'Reilly, Tim O'Reilly, Joshua Henderson, and Allie Redman; great granddaughter, Madison O'Reilly Jones; siblings: Gerry (Alice) Hovland, Marty (Shirley) Hovland, and LaVelle Hovland; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her former husband, Larry O'Reilly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tracy Redman, in 2005.
Friends are invited to visit on Thursday, December 27, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 28, at 12:30 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park, and a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at Quail Lakes Baptist Church, 1904 Quail Lakes Drive, in Stockton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in LaMar's name to Stockton Pregnancy Help Center, 4255 Pacific Ave., Ste. 8, Stockton, CA 95207. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
