Leland Walker Obituary

Leland (Lee) Allen Walker passed away on July 28th after a lengthy illness. He was born in Bakersfield Ca on 4/23/1940 to Leland A Walker and Margaret Dunlap. After a stint in the Air Force he eventually settled in Lodi where he worked as a tree trimmer. Later he studied and became a substance abuse counselor. He was a friend of Bill W. He was preceded in death by a twin sister Leatha Hukill and another sister, Theresa Plowright. He is survived by a son Brett & Krista Walker of Southern Ca. and two grandchildren he adored, Kelsey & Mathew Walker and another sister Margo Ostberg of Tuscon Az. a brother William Walker of Eugene Or as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is in the planning stages and will be hosted by friends of Bill W.

You have been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. I watched you overcome a lot of adversity. It wasn't easy but you continued to struggle. Although I will miss you Cuz, I am so glad you are no longer in pain and finally at peace. My love forever......
