Leland was born on February 24th, 1926, in Stockton, CA. He was the son of Leland and Florence Bunch. "Bud" and the love of his life, Ellen Rae (Peek) Bunch, were married 61 years. They loved music and dancing together.
Bud spent 65 years farming in Stockton-Lodi area.  A devout Patriot, he served the country he loved in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was proceeded in death by his dear sister Marion Hoff and her husband Donald Hoff. His nephews Vernon Hoff and and Andy Peek. His brother in-law, Ellsworth Peek (Joan) and niece, Diane Peek and niece in-law Gabriel Peek.
Our beloved Bud is survived by his wife, Ellen Rae (Peek) Bunch; his cousin/sister, Annie Furry. brother in-law, Ellington Peek (Betty), sister in-law, Carol Meredith. Uncle Bud will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews: Brian Hoff (Diane),  Robin Marchi, Bobbie Mota (Nick), Callie Peek Wood (Darrell), Laurie Peek Norene (Jerry); Bradley Peek. Richard B. Wilmshurst, Tamara L. Green, Lucinda L. Wilmshurst, Sarah E. Wrathall (Christine). Suzanne Segel (Jon), Rochelle Pens (Rey), Lorna Lynn, Charlie Peek (Stacie), and Carolyn Merle (Isbell). Bud and Ellen's legacy includes many great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and wonderful friends.
Bud was a member of the Bean Growers Association. Bud loved his dogs, taking his family water skiing, "Jackie " hunting in the wee hours of the morning, and going to breakfast with his friends. The farm was a Home to all who visited.
 Cherokee Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Lodi , CA will take care of arrangements for the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Micke Grove Park, Lodi, CA.  
A Life Celebration will be at Micke Grove Park Solarium Building on Sunday August 24th, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00pm.
