Leonardo J. Lemos, Jr. passed away at the age of 31 on June 17, 2013. He was born in San Jose, California on June 8, 1982. Lenny was an amazing man, father, husband, brother, uncle & friend. He served his country proudly in the United States Army beginning July 27, 2000, serving 3 tours in Iraq. Lenny's first duty was Ft. Campbell 101st Infantry and his last duty was station 1-18 First Infantry. He then returned home to Acampo to be with his family, where he continued to grow in family and friends. Many who met Lenny grew to call and consider him family. He was and will continue to be an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is extremely loved. Lenny is survived by his loving wife, Heather Lemos, children; Angeliena Lemos, Maria Lemos, and Leonardo Lemos III, parents; Leonardo J Lemos Sr. and Cynthia Elaine Lemos, sisters; Rosine Alanzo, Monica Montanez, and Melissa Cuellar, and brothers; Robert Montanez, Sonny Toyooka, Jesse Toyooka, and Ralph Toyooka. Lenny will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-8pm Sunday, June 23, 2013 and Monday, June 24, 2013 at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 E. Industrial Way, Lodi. Funeral Services will be held at 11am Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Temple Baptist Church, 801 S. Lower Sacramento Rd., Lodi with interment to follow in the Garden of Freedom at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & Harney Ln., Lodi. Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lemos Family.
