Lorraine Eleanor Stevens passed away peacefully on August 4, 2012. She was born February 6, 1932 at home on the family ranch in Clements to Ed and Alice Culver.
On July 15, 1950, Lorraine was married to Charles V. Stevens at St. Johnís Episcopal Church in Stockton. They were married for 59 years.
Lorraine is survived by her sister, Anna May Vollbrecht; her children, Sherrie Handel (Ted) of Stockton, Richard Stevens (Sandie) of Lodi and Brian Stevens (Ann) of Willoughby, Ohio. She was Nana to Julie Ochse (Bernhardt) of Boston, MA, Susan Woehl (Dave) of Lodi, Brad Stevens (Sarah) of Canton, Ohio, Michelle Faul (Jeff) of Lodi, Kimberly Jorgenson (Kraig) of Lodi, Brandon Stevens and his wife of Lodi, and Greggory Stevens of Lodi. She also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren: Lauren, Jeff, Kayla, Katie, Kellie, Alex, Lizzie, Emmie, Maddie, Teddy, and Sophia. Her twelfth great-grandchild, Evan Stevens is due to be born in September in Canton, Ohio.
Per the request of the family services were held privately at Cherokee Memorial Park in the Garden of Trees. In Lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Lodi Memorial Hospital Foun-dation, 845 S. Fairmont Ave Ste. 3, Lodi, CA, 95240.
