Meriam Joyce Morrison passed peacefully in her sleep on June 10, 2013, due to complications from Alzheimer's. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert and Meriam Snider, and lived there until she met her husband, William Donald Morrison. They were married on October 16, 1954. Meriam and William moved to California, Puerto Rico, Louisiana and Ohio throughout William's Air Force career, settling in California upon his discharge in 1961. In 1969 they moved to Lodi, where they raised their 3 children, Mindy, Billy, and Joyce. Meriam was a homemaker, scout leader, librarian, and a loving wife and mother. She was also a loving and wonderful grandmother to 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Meriam will be remembered for her loving spirit and ability to love everyone unconditionally.

She will be missed by her husband of nearly 59 years, William (Bill) Morrison, Sr, and their children, Mindy Lee Morrison, William Donald Morrison, Jr, and Joyce Ann Zimmerman-Partika. Meriam also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jamie Morrison, Ricky Zimmerman, Jessica Zimmerman, Samantha Morrison-Wolfe, Kyle Morrison, and great grandchild Kaydence Wolfe. She will also be missed by her sisters, Patricia Vanatta, Barbara Kemerer, brother Donald Snider, and stepbrother Robert Taylor.
Preceding Meriam in death are her parents and grandparents, and siblings, Mary Lou Costello, Francis Frantz, Joan Morrison, and stepsister Jackie Schiffer.
Friends and family are invited to attend graveside services at 11am, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in Garden of Freedom at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi. Memorial Contributions may be made in Meriam's name to the
