Patrick Michael "Pat" McLaughlin of Lodi, CA died on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 in Stockton, CA at the age of 61.
The Guest Book is expired.
He was born on Groundhog's Day (1952) in Sacramento, CA to James McLaughlin and Marianne Leathers (both deceased). Pat graduated from Encina High School in 1971. He later went on to trade school to become an insulator and was a member of the Insulators & Asbestos Workers Union Local 16 for almost 30 years. Before settling in Lodi, he spent time in Baja Mexico and a small time living in Bellingham, WA.
Apart from his trade, Pat enjoyed being outdoors whether it was boating on Puget Sound, hiking with his son's Boy Scout troop or fishing on Lake Alpine near his Tamarack cabin.
Pat is survived by his wife of 27 years, Alysia, son Patrick, sister Kathleen, brother Sean and two older step-sisters, Marleen & Cheryl.
Pat passed away from heart failure due to liver disease. The family would like to thank all the San Joaquin General Hospital ER & ICU staff including Dr. Vo & Dr. Singh as well as nurses Mary, Feneesa and Bill.
A celebration will be held in his honor on June 1st at Casa Flores in Lodi, CA. The family asks that black attire not be worn. It would have been he and his wife's 28th wedding anniversary.
