Paula Cherie Meadows, 70, of Acampo, passed away July 13, 2012. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later lived in Concord and Dublin, CA where she and her husband Kenneth had 9 children of their own and fostered over 300 children.
She loved her crafts, gardening, cooking meals for everyone, and best of all helping others.
The last 23 years she lived in Acampo, CA where she ran a halfway home for women and children.
She leaves behind 9 children, 22 Grand Children, and 14 Great Grand Children.
Her husband of 47 years, Kenneth Meadows, passed away October, 2005.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 2-8pm and Wednesday July 18 from 8-10am at Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home, 831 Industrial Way, Lodi CA 95240. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 18 at 11am at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane in Lodi. Please sign the online guestbook at www.cherokeememorial.com
