Pedro Mosqueda Mendoza

1923 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
Dad has passed on to everlasting peace, may God deliver him with surroundings of his Angels to the gates of Heaven.
Dad was born in Leon Guanajuato Mexico in the village of Valle De Santiago. He worked all of his life from the time he was able to, as a young man, he tried many times to come to the U.S.A he knew if he got here things would be different. He never gave up, no matter how many times he was sent back, he always returned. He had a plan to someday own his own business. Dad met our mother in Brawley Ca., and now had a beginning of a life, he didn't expect to change his plan but our father was always thinking ahead, he married our mother, Jessie Urquidez and they had their first child, then not long after his family grew. Dad always wanted better for his family, so he moved to Central Ca., where he continued to work and in between work he finally became a Citizen of the U.S.A, it was one of his happiest moments in his life, he was very proud of his accomplishment.
Our father taught many men to work hard. Many of the grape growers learned from our father, how to grow their vineyards and throughout California.
He is survived by his son, Pedro Mendoza of Lodi, Ca., daughter, Margaret Brandon of Minden, Ca., son Albert Mendoza of French Camp, Ca., son Joe Mendoza of Southern, Ca., son Martin Mendoza of S. Lake Tahoe, daughter Monica Mendoza of Lathrop, Ca., son Mario Mendoza of S. Lake Tahoe and 12 grandchildren.
A Viewing will be held on October 31st and November 1st from 9am-5pm at Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St., Lodi Ca., 95240.
