Richard "Rick" Joseph O'Boyle III passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 15th. He was born to Richard II and Dorothy O'Boyle on January 6th 1941 in Lackawanna, N.Y.
Rick had a love for Porsches, crossword puzzles, books and most of all, his son and grandsons. Rick was a loving and kind person who loved telling jokes and spending time with his family and friends. He truly had the "gift of gab".

Rick served as a Military Police Officer in the ARMY. He took pride in serving his country and was awarded soldier of the month. Rick was discharged in Hawaii where he made his home until he moved to California in 1989. He worked in sales all of his life. His last job was held at Comanche Hills Hunting Preserves where he sold club memberships. He loved his extended family at the CHHP.

Rick is remembered by his only son, Richard O'Boyle IV, and his wife Shana, both of Lodi. His two grandsons, Richard Joseph VI and Thomas Michael Gary O'Boyle. Rick has 8 younger siblings. Patricia Barry, Ginger Schilling, Jeanette Schwendler, Eileen Doyle, Michael, Thomas, and Gary O'Boyle, all of New York. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy O'Boyle of New York, and his grandson, Richard Joseph O'Boyle V, of Lodi

Richard's family and friends invite you to a Celebration of Life to be held at Comanche Hills Hunting Preserve, 2951 Curran Rd Ione CA, on Thursday August 30th from 12pm-2pm. We would like to thank Richard's extended family at CHHP for looking out for him all these years. He was very thankful for everything you did for him and his family greatly appreciates all of you. Mahalo!
