Robert "Bob" Montgomery was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Albert & Mabel. He resided in many cities due to his father's career in the Navy. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, 1950, in Mechanical Engineering and opened his own firm, Montgomery & Roberts, Consulting Engineers, in 1953. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine, his sister, Madelyn Furze, his five children: Bruce, Barbara, Sally, John and Jim; four step-children: Julie, Patti, Katie and David. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Services will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1540 West Lodi Avenue, Lodi at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012.
