Robert Frank McNally Obituary
Robert Frank McNally passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Fairmont Rehabilitation Center in Lodi, CA at 86 years of age. He was born in Portola, CA and graduated from Portola High School in 1944. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Saratoga during World War II. He married Claire Prest on April 8, 1955. Robert worked for Cal Gas in Portola, CA, Union Ice in Reno, NV and was an accountant for Baxter Packing in Lodi, CA. Besides enjoying camping and waterskiing, Robert was very devoted to his family. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Thelma, his wife of 50 years, Claire, and his three brothers Jim, Roy and Art. He is survived by his loving family: son, David McNally (Donita) of Menifee, CA, his daughters, Cathy Morton (Tim) of Sparks, NV, and Terri Walther (Greg) of Lodi, CA, six grandchildren: Chris McNally (Shelly) of Menifee, CA, Mike McNally, of Menifee, CA, Breanne Antos (Chad) of Sparks, NV, Kendall Morton of Sparks, NV, Cori Pribula (Warren) of Lodi, CA and Renay Walther, of Lodi, CA, six great-grandchildren, beloved sister, Esther Williams of Dayton, NV, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Judy McNally of Boise, ID.
Robert was a loving Father, Brother, Grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed by all.
Friends are invited to visit at Lodi Funeral Home on Friday, March 29, from 12 pm to 6 pm, and Saturday, March 30, from 9 am to 6 pm. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013, at 11 am at Cherokee Memorial Park. A celebration of Robert's life will follow. Everyone is invited to this celebration.
