Ronnie Lee Mangrich Obituary
Ronnie Lee Mangrich, of Lodi, passed away on March 2, 2013, after a sudden illness. Ronnie was born on November 15, 1953, and was a life-long resident of Lodi. Ronnie graduated in 1972 from Lodi Union High School. After graduation, he worked for Lodi Iron Works, Goehring Meats, and for the last 21 years, was a warehouse manager for Home Depot in Fremont.
On May 17, 1973, Ronnie married his high school sweetheart, Carol Ray, and together they had three children. He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. He also coached his sons' little league baseball teams. Ronnie was an avid SF Giants fan and loved NASCAR. He enjoyed having family dinners and welcomed everyone to their home. He also loved barbecuing (tri-tip was his specialty). Ronnie lived life to the fullest with his family and friends.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carol, parents, Rome and Antoinette Mangrich, brothers, Michael (Susie) Mangrich, David (Therese) Mangrich, sister Janet (Dan) Holmes. Ronnie is also survived by his three children, Timothy (Angela) Mangrich, Jenni Mangrich, and Marc (Teri) Mangrich. His three grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Roman, Brayden and Conrad. Ronnie also leaves behind numerous brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, and nephews and nieces. Ronnie was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday 1-6 p.m. and Sunday 9-6 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 10, at 5 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 11, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 215 W. Walnut St., Lodi. A reception will be held at St. Anne's Hall immediately following the services. Committal is private.
