Mountain View, California – Rose Tosti went home to be with our Lord and Savior one year ago June 5, 2012.
The Guest Book is expired.
She passed away quietly in her home. She was born and raised in Sunnyvale, CA where she married Ernest Tosti, Sr. on November 30, 1942. They lived and raised a family in San Jose for many years before moving to Bonanza Oregon, and then back to Lodi California stopping a few other places along the way.
Serving our Lord Jesus Christ and being the cornerstone of her family was her life. She loved her 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and although they were scattered all over the country, each one was precious and she loved them and prayed for them all tirelessly.
She loved music and traveling and loved to take time to visit with family and friends. She spent her life as a rancher's wife, raising her kids and spending time with the family as it continued to grow over the years. She enjoyed teaching bible study and became a grievance counselor after the passing of her husband Ernest. She counseled at battered women's shelters and donated her time to those God called her to assist. She was always there with a compassionate smile and discerning heart to help those in need. Her faith in the Lord gave her an inner strength and peace that holds the family and circle of life-long family friends together in Love, Support & Understanding still to this day.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ernest Tosti, Sr., her Grandson, Denny Tosti and her brothers John and Don Simon. She leaves behind her Children, Ernest Tosti, Jr., Dennis Tosti, Dianne Elledge and Lexie Feige, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters, Candy Hall, Ann Pope and Connie Grice.
She is greatly missed and will be FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS. We will all be reunited someday in the Lord's house so leave the gate open and the light on Nanny Rose!
