Steven Lee Horak passed away, peacefully, at his home in Lodi, CA, on Thursday, June 7, at the age of 61. Steve was born on January 11, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Evelyn. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Karen of 12 years, his brother Ron (Candy), his three daughters, Stephanie Rapoza, Katie and Emily Horak, and step children, Charles, (Lindsay), Aaron, and Jamie Sigl, Brian and Darin Lanfair, Jeffery Conway and Michelle Hutcherson.
He graduated from Burbank High School, In Sacramento, CA in 1969. After, he enlisted and served in the US Navy for 4 years. Upon returning he went into the family business, Standard Appliance Parts, (HVAC), opening his own store in Stockton, CA, in 1976.
Steve's passions were traveling, spending time on his Chris Craft Yacht on the delta, sports, spending time with his family.
He will forever be known for his business knowledge, love for his family and friends and his kindness towards animals. He is gone from sight but not from memory.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, June 14th at the Chapel of Flowers, located in the Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 & E. Harney Ln., Lodi, CA.
