Thomas Robert Hathaway, 48, a long time resident of Lodi, CA died on September 28 after a prolonged illness. Tom was born in Fairfield, CA on October 10, 1963 to Robert and Rose Mary Hathaway.

Tom had a love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed camping and traveling to new as well as favorite spots. He had a love of good food and was a great cook. Along with being a cherished family member, Tom also shared his golden sense of humor and kindness with neighbors, friends, and co-workers. He was an avid reader and had a love of music. Tom was an accomplished woodworker and cabinetmaker. Many friends and Lodi residents have his work in their homes. Tom worked for the City of Lodi for 15 years and is well known throughout the community.
Tom is survived by his wife of 26 years Laura, his sons Bryan and Justin, his parents Robert and Rose Mary Hathaway, and his sister Mary Anne Hathaway. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Lodi Memorial Staff and his team of Doctors that provided excellent care to Tom. Their care allowed Tom to spend the last few months of his time, at home with his family.
