Vera Bonnet Ehresman Obituary
Vera (Bonnet) Ehresman was born on October 19, 1944 in Leola, South Dakota and entered Heaven's Gates on July 11, 2018 (Lodi, California).
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Harley, her son, Kevin (Valerie) Ehresman, her daughter, Candace (Rudy) Gutierrez, her grandsons, Jacob, Ryan, Dillon, Roman, and Nathan.  She is also survived by three sisters, Deloris Jung, Betty Huettl, Ginny DeWald, and several brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and seven brothers.
Vera grew up in and near Aberdeen, South Dakota, where she met and married her husband, Harley.  They moved to Lodi, California soon after.  She was a beloved wife, mother and "Nana."  She enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events-she was their biggest fan.  She was employed in many positions throughout her lifetime, but she made a big impression at one job in particular working in the Medical Records Department of Lodi Memorial Hospital.  There, she made many lasting friendships with her co-workers and the doctors she served.  She was a long-time member of Temple Baptist Church (Gracepoint) where she loved singing worship songs and was known for her kind, loving heart.
The viewing will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home (831 Industrial Way.)
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Cherokee Vineyard Chapel (14165 N. Beckman Rd.), and at 12 p.m., a time of fellowship at Gracepoint Church Auditorium (801 S. Lower Sacramento Rd.)
