The Guest Book is expired.

Virginia Baker (aka Virginia Sudderth) passed away in her sleep early Friday morning, May 25th, 2012. Born Dora Virginia Ruggles on December 31st, 1921 to John "Jack" Ruggles and Dorthea DeVere; she was 90 years old.
Virginia was preceded in death by her sister Joan; her youngest daughter Debra Joan Sudderth Baker; and her husbands: Boyd Baker, Joe Sudderth and Harold Raine.
Virginia was much loved and is now sorely missed by her surviving family members. Her children: John (Alice) Raine; Kathi (Casey) Hammett; Barbara (Greg) Nuckols; Michael (Jackie) Sudderth; and Tom (Laura) Sudderth. Her grandchildren: Jeffrey Hammett; Andrea (Todd) Erickson; Domenique Martorella; Ehren Martorella; Barron (Tara) Sudderth; Anthony Sudderth; Darren Baker; Veronika Sudderth; and Seda (Monique) Sudderth. Her great-grandchildren: Ari Erickson; and Elle and Emerson Sudderth.
Virginia saw rough times growing up during the Great Depression and beginning a family during WWII; however, she maintained a wry sense of humor throughout her life. She worked hard on the poultry ranch raising six children. She enjoyed time with her friends and family fishing, dancing, bowling, attending ball games and playing cards. In Lodi and San Andreas, CA, she volunteered in the local hospitals and senior centers and enjoyed doing charity work. Her continued love of spectator sports remained with her until the end. If you want to remember Virginia, next time you are enjoying your favorite sport, have a ball doing it and remember to yell "Score one for Virginia!"
At our mom's request, there were no funeral services but her ashes will be spread during a private, family outing this summer.
