Virginia Joyce Alfaro Obituary
Virginia Joyce Alfaro, 84, passed away quietly with her family at her side on May 4, 2013. She was born to parents Joseph and Esther Lee in Columbus, Montana on May 20, 1928. Virginia was the middle of three girls, and is preceded in death by her sister, Doris, and her parents. She is survived by her sister Margaret Krauss of Livermore, CA. Virginia spent her childhood in Montana before moving to St. Paul, Minnesota in high school. After high school, Virginia moved with her family to Palo Alto, CA.
In 1973, Virginia married her "knight in shining armor," Trinidad Alfaro. Together they established and grew Alfaro Concrete before retiring in 1993 and moving to Wilton, CA. Virginia and Trini shared 40 years together as a loving couple and brought two families together as one. Virginia loved to travel and spend time surrounded by her family, especially all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a source of calm, love and devotion to everyone, and she enriched the lives of all who loved her.
Virginia is survived by her adoring husband, Trinidad, her four loving sons, James Gaul, Gary Gaul, Richard Alfaro and Albert Alfaro, and her five devoted daughters, Pamela Loudy, Estella Chavez, Racael Alfaro, Lenora Garcia, and Rosemarie Alfaro. She was also loved and adored by her 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
