Wesley W. Baumback Obituary
Wesley W. Baumback was born on October 6, 1924 in McClusky, North Dakota. He passed away on March 8, 2009 after a brief illness. Wesley was a long time resident of the Galt/Lodi area.
He served in the United States Army during World War II and retired from the City of Lodi. He was currently a part time employee at the Boething Treeland Farms in Lodi. Wesley was also a retired farmer/rancher. Wesley enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and camping in his retirement years. He loved farming and working on the land.
He is survived by two loving daughters, Joetta Nelson and husband, Jerry of Acampo and Robin Sarisky and husband, Gerry of Lodi; and seven grandchildren: Andy Baumback of Sacramento, David Baumback of Yuma, AZ, Joseph, and Sandy Baumback of Yerington, NV, Brandie Baumback of Lodi, Kenny and Amanda Sarisky of Lodi; one brother, Archie Baumback and wife, Joanne of Lodi; and sister, Maella Hannay and husband, Don of Elk Grove.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Lee Baumback of 47 years; sons, Ronald Dean Baumback (1994), and Lyle Scott Baumback (1979); and brother, Dewey Baumback; and sister, Faye Evans.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside services Friday, March 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E Pine Street in Lodi
Viewing will be at Rocha's Mortuary, 215 S. School Street, Lodi on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
